Overview

CapitalOS is an embedded spend management infrastructure provider that enables B2B software platforms to offer branded corporate credit cards and expense management tools to their small business end-users — without building the underlying compliance, underwriting, capital, or card-issuance infrastructure in-house. The integration is designed to be minimal: platforms can go live with a single API call, and most businesses onboard in 2–4 minutes with instant credit decisions and no traditional credit score check. CapitalOS handles the full stack on behalf of platform partners: credit underwriting (limits tied to 2–8 weeks of business revenue, up to $5M/month), working capital provision, KYB/KYC compliance, fraud and risk management, card issuance (physical and virtual Visa cards via First Internet Bank of Indiana through Increase's banking infrastructure), mobile wallet support, embeddable UI components, real-time spend controls, automated reconciliation, and AI-powered bill pay. By owning the risk and capital side, CapitalOS removes financial liability from platform partners entirely. Target customers are vertical SaaS and B2B platforms that operate as "operating systems" for small businesses — field service management, entertainment production, accounting, restaurants. These platforms possess proprietary financial data on users, enabling CapitalOS's no-credit-check underwriting. CapitalOS launched from stealth in November 2023 with $39M ($9M seed equity from Group 11, Upper90, Vera Equity, Slow Ventures + $30M debt). Founders include Nir Dremer (CEO, ex-Stripe/Tipalti) and Matan Goldschmiedt (CTO).
